重慶喜多針織有限公司 / Sales Manager

Tell us about your role at Fenix.

I joined the company in 2010, I am currently in charge of the overall KIK sales operations.

I've been trained by Fenix, Japan for about 3 years, and I've been at Suzhou Ogima Knitting Clothing Co., Ltd. in Suzhou, so I think that my role can be described as a "Small Suzhou Fenix " in Chongqing.

We do manage delivery dates and quality control by getting involved in all processes from samples production to shipping.

I am interested in Japan and studied Japanese, but at first I was not that enthusiastic. My interest was sparked when I was assigned to the current role which makes me understand various meanings of my job, and I feel rewarded when my proposals are commented positively.

Please tell us what you want to challenge and what you are aiming for in your position.

Mr. Kita, who was the former president, was transferred to Fenix Tokyo team to replace Mr. Ye. This makes me more explicit about my roles and duties. I think understanding the nature of management and factories, the relationship between sales and revenue, and using business thinking is more critical. Now that I can see things not only from the factory's point of view but also from the customer's point of view, I have broadened my horizons and started to identify issues.

Also, being in charge of the sample room, via a trial-and-error process I can prepare proposals designed to generate additional orders. If we don't provide something innovative, there is no chance we can grow. For that reason, I have recently stepped up my interest in raw materials such as threads and fabrics, so to make sure that Fenix can always offer what customers are looking for.

Please tell us what you are trying to do outside of work, what you are looking forward to, and your hobbies.

I'm a little overweight, so I'm exercising at home. It was painful at first, but recently it has become more comfortable. I commute 2 hours each way to work. . In the meantime, listening to music allows me to switch from work-mode to spare time-mode.

After that, I like to travel. once a year alone with my wife, every six months with my friends.. Beautiful sceneries, fun conversations, dining together, playing mahjong at night and going fishing: this is what I call fun.

How do you find working with Fenix's?

Fenix taught me how to convey only our passion for manufacturing to customers, and nothing else. At the beginning of my career, instead, I sometimes bothered my clients, got angry with them: I am full of gratitude for the rigor learnt from Fenix to become more cautions and positive.

I'm sure that Mr. Kita-san still cares about us and I want to live up to that trust to fully support President Ha with peace of mind. While growing together, I hope our teams can always feel like brothers, forever.
