Tell us about your role at Fenix.

Dima factory's sense of responsibility is the cornerstone of Fenix knit manufacturing and I am in charge of maintaining it by setting common goals and coordinating a smooth management of all factory departments.

In addition to manage the entire team, it is also important for me to look after the emotional wellbeing of our staff and provide any necessary care that maty be needed. If any of our employees have a problem, we try to support them even when they are not on duty. By doing so, our staff not only can work with peace of mind but also love their work and workplace. An open interpersonal communication is key to avoid problems in life and at work, that's why my office door is always open.

Please tell us what you want to challenge and what you are aiming for in your position.

It is our pride and our goal to continue producing knitwear for first-class clients and brands by maintaining that status of a top-tier factory that makes superior products: our challenge it to constantly discuss what is needed for that, always think about it, and keep trying.

To that end, it is necessary to further improve quality, adopt diversified technologies and enhance responsiveness. Whilst continuously reviewing processes with the group leader, etc., it will be necessary to improve our capability to respond flexibly to production schedule issues.
In other words, I think it is our responsibility to keep innovating and never rest on our laurels, so to ultimately gain our customers' trust thanks to manufacturing solutions that only we can provide.

Please tell us what you are trying to do outside of work, what you are looking forward to, and your hobbies.

The factory is open on Saturdays and Sundays, so of course I never take a rest. Rather, I love this workplace, so I can't settle down unless I'm here (laughs).

I don't hate mahjong, but my only pleasure is to drink with my friends. I'm happiest to drink, talk and share time together. I also like to cook when I have time. I wake up in the morning, go shopping for ingredients, cook my favorite dishes and enjoy them with my friends. I feel content if the food looks delicious.

How do you find working with Fenix's?

The Fenix people are all very kind: together with the Dima fatory and my current job, they are always at the heart of my life. I am really happy to see that Fenix Tokyo staff always care about us: that is why we genuinely strive to make good products for them, as we higly value how delightful Fenix and their clients are. Even if all knitwear factories were to disappear from China, we would remain until the very end because of our commitment to Fenix.
