Naoha Ha SUNDY YE

重慶喜多針織有限公司 / President

Tell us about your role at Fenix.

KIK is a knit factory based in Chongqing, and we are proud that it is one of the most important production sites for Fenix.

As KIK President, I am in charge of management decisions such as sales planning and strategies, but when it comes to manufacturing, it is my job to make everybody aim for a highly accurate samples production and for zero returns.

To that end, I would like to share a vision with everyone through education and training such as setting numerical targets, eliminating errors, and encouraging cheerful greetings, in order to foster it as a corporate culture.

Please tell us what you want to challenge and what you are aiming for in your position.

Chongqing has abundant sources of good quality water, hence our product features a very soft finishing. Moreover, thanks to the high level of humidity, products that require moisture like hemp thread can be knitted very neatly. My objective is to leverage these environmental characteristic to further improve our future proposals to customers.

Also, to tackle the highly critical seasonality issues, we will focus on our strongest pluses and on our customers' merits to increase our competitiveness.

Among them, we believe that quality should always our winning card., hence the next three years we will dare to limit our production capacity and even if we improve efficiency, we will never compromise on quality.

Please tell us what you are trying to do outside of work, what you are looking forward to, and your hobbies.

I am not thinking about getting rest. Everyone at Fenix is constantly saying "I hope you can get a girlfriend!" (Laughs). At the current stage I strive to lay the foundation for my management development, credibility, and the ability to generate outstanding ideas.

How do you find working with Fenix's?

Originally I loved fashion and worked for a trading company and a raw materials company in Shanghai. However, I have always desired to make something on my own and once I met Mr. Kita we immediately got along very well, sharing the same attitude towards manufacturing and started this factory together. Fenix and KIK cooperate as if we are part of the same entity, no matter far away we are.

I will never forget the days when we started from scratch. Our original factory motto "we can make better things! is still unchanged and it That feeling has not changed, and it has been passed down to all the factory staff.
